I love reading this series of stories as much as I loved writing them! They were so much fun to research, finding out the quirks and oddities of societies outside the United States.

Here are some descriptions of my Extreme Travel stories.

Extreme Travel 1:
Nice Lion...Don't Eat Me

Kes Madrid is on a safari which is destined to change her life forever.

Traveling with her boss, Mr. James Hamilton, isn't much fun. When she's forced to depend on him, she finds out that Zimbabwe isn't the best place for a vacation, especially when there's a coup beginning and she's right in the middle of it!

Extreme Travel 2:
Escaping Voodoo

Ben coerces Kes and James to join him on a quick mission to Haiti. However, when their plane crashes and they're forced to walk through the mountains of the Dominican Republic to get to Haiti, Kes has second thoughts about the CIA. She's plunged into a world of deceit and distraction, and finds out she's good at it, but at what price?

Extreme Travel 3:
Slave Cruise

Because Kes fakes a mental illness to help James out with his doctoral thesis, the CIA forces her to take a vacation--a cruise down the west coast of Mexico with her CIA friends along. She soon runs into some bad people, who want her dead and make her decide if she wants to get involved with the CIA as an agent or not.

Extreme Travel 4:
Rogue Agent

Kes' brother has been kidnapped, along with many other business men in the Philippines. She and James have just finished basic training for the CIA, and their first mission is to rescue many men from the kidnappers. She and her team of agents fly to the Philippines, and Kes proves that she is a very competent agent and a real force to be reckoned with.

Extreme Travel 5:
Rainforest Rebels

The Vice President of the United States and his family have been kidnapped and are being held in Venezuela. Recently named Team Kes has been called late at night to rescue him and his family with the help of four secret service agents. Through a series of events, Kes gets into trouble, as usual, and because of her problems, they are forced to hide out in the jungles and rainforests of Venezuela.

Extreme Travel 6:
Deadly Stilettos

Kes hates needles, and her self-assigned personal physician, Ian, has decided that she needs a physical. Her entire team is invited to this event, against her wishes, and they have an impromptu meeting afterward that plunges them yet into another mission for the CIA, this time in the country of Turkey. One of their missions is to rescue the granddaughter of a U.S. Senator, and the team is faced with more crises as they try to investigate the death of another agent who died in Turkey while doing his job.

Extreme Travel 7:
Twin Bullets

James and Kes have spoken with the highest offices in Washington, D.C., giving them the latest intelligence on upcoming missions. Their goal is to take down an extreme terrorist group operating out of Europe as well as to infiltrate a black market internet baby selling ring out of England. Kes and James volunteer to be the couple posing to sell their child on the black market, but things go wrong and they find themselves in real peril when the terrorists turn on them, personally.

Extreme Travel 8:
Gun-Toting Psychic Babe

After a three year hiatus, Kes and James are back on duty. This time, they've been called to Kenya along with the other two most successful teams that work for their boss, Wilson. Kes has an accident during this trip and suddenly has psychic abilities that she'd rather not have. They end up in Europe, once again, tracking a lead so they can save the world.

Extreme Travel 9:
Mind Psyche

Team Kes is needed in Laos to rescue some of their own agents. They have to hide the fact that Kes is psychic from the newest ride-along member, Frank. Through many trials, they traverse the country of Laos, hunting for their people, and eventually come face to face with the most evil men of all, Tommy Chen.

Extreme Travel 10:
The World Versus China

Forced to hide out from the CIA, Team Kes is found on the beach in France. To make sure they actually see their families again, they're 'coerced' to take out a bad man in China and liberate some concentration camps using their psychic abilities. They also realize that there's more to the process than meets the eye, with supposed friends actually working behind the scenes to destroy them.
